Naragonia Quartet - Saturday Afternoon Warwick Folk Festival

Sat 25 Jul 2026 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM BST Online, Zoom

Can’t make it to Warwick Folk Festival? Following last year’s successful livestream, we’re delighted to be back at Castle Park, presenting a specially curated setlist of exceptional folk, acoustic, and grassroots music.

We’re delighted to be livestreaming Naragonia Quartet as they take to the Warwick Folk Festival Stage. This talented quartet of multi-instrumentalists specialise in beautiful folk music with a stunning European twist.

What to expect: Having performed together for nearly 20 years across Europe and the UK, you’re in for a fantastic time with Naragonia Quartet!

This group has a very lovely, very distinct sound - a luscious blend of folk and chamber music that sounds both familiar and unusual at the same time.

About the artist(s)

Naragonia Quartet is a Belgian folk four-piece consisting of Toon Van Mierlo (accordion, bagpipes, saxophone, clarinet), Pascale Rubens (accordion, violin, vocals), Maarten Decombel (mandola, guitar) and Luc Pilartz (violin).

An extension of the original Naragonia duo, Naragonia Quartet have recorded three CDs, collaborated with many fantastic musicians, and performed all over Europe.

Naragonia are the Holy Grail. They have achieved that very elusive thing. A brilliant dance and concert band. This comes as no surprise to me as they have the perfect ingredients. Brilliant melodies, tasteful arrangements, and glorious musicianship - Andy Cutting
