O'Hooley & Tidow

Sat 4 Apr 2026 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM BST Online, Zoom
This hybrid gig is being livestreamed in partnership with our friends at The Arches in Halifax. Tickets to watch it in person at The Arches are available here.

We’re delighted to welcome O’Hooley & Tidow for a very special one-off performance, fresh from their victory in the World Cup of Christmas Folk.

Heidi Tidow took a sabbatical from the duo to continue her studies in autism, but is returning to play with Belinda O’Hooley to celebrate the birthday of Anne Lister, known as ‘the first modern lesbian’.

Fun fact: O’Hooley & Tidow’s song Gentleman Jack plays over the end credits of the Gentleman Jack TV series; the historical drama inspired by Anne Lister.

What to expect: Authentic, vulnerable, intimate music, with an unconventional Northern edge.

Expect poignant lyrics, beautiful vocal harmonies, and exceptional piano playing.
