We’re delighted to welcome the Pagoda Project to the Live to your Living Room stage as part of our exciting 2026 programme of music.
Folk and jazz are two surprisingly similar genres, both rooted in tradition and culture, and Pagoda Project brings a show that effortlessly blends the two together.
What to expect:
Pagoda Project draws on its deep talent and knowledge of jazz and folk to create a show that’s both comfortingly familiar and excitingly new and dynamic.
Expect bold, brave music and lots of improvisation, with plenty of humour along the way.
About the artists
Pagoda Project is a collaboration between Paul Hutchinson (accordion) and Karen Wimhurst (clarinet), recently joined by Hannah Cumming (violin, vocals).
Experts in their respective instruments, the trio specialise in a fusion sound, bringing together a unique blend of traditional folk music and jazz improvisation.
My oh my, were these guys good. Somerset rural soul flowed in a playful and inclusive way. Carrying on the folk tradition with guts, love and oodles of talent and togetherness - Millhouse Arts Centre and Café
