We’re pleased to welcome Teesside folk trio The Young’uns back to the Live to your Living Room stage to kick-start our autumn 2025 schedule of music.
Playing the beautiful St Andrew’s Church in Sheffield, we’re proud to present this gig in collaboration with our friends at Live at Sam’s. This gig has already sold out, but you can still enjoy the livestream in the comfort of your own home!

About the artist
The Young’uns consist of Sean Cooney, Michael Hughes, and David Eagle. A long time ago in Stockton-on-Tees, they heard folk sounds coming from the back room of a pub and decided to join in. Being the youngest ones there by several decades, they were labelled The Young’uns, and the name stuck.
Twenty years later, the award-winning band has toured the world and is best known for The Ballad of Johnny Longstaff, the true story of a local boy who witnessed many of the world-changing events of the 1930s.
The harmonies are glorious, the wit is waspish. The songs are powerful, the banter is relentless, and the audience is happy. What’s not to like? The Guardian
