About the artists

The Madeleine Stewart Trio consists of Madeleine Stewart, Craig Baxter, and Amy Laurenson - a tradfolk trio that plays the fiddle, piano, and bodhran.
Releasing their debut album at Celtic Connections in 2023, the trio plays folk music old and new, inspired by the traditional music of both England and Scotland.
A formidable front row for any line-up, The Madeleine Stewart Trio does more with fiddle, keyboards and bodhran than many bigger bands - Folk World
